Summer will be here soon and we know what that means for curly hair! Do you have curly hair and it gets out of control? Believe me, products are your friend. Not just any products though. It’s all about the top five essentials for your curly hair!
1) Elasticity- Surface Curls coco butter is rich in Vitamin E and Magnesium. This helps strengthen the structural bonds.
2) Hydration- Surface Curls Organic Bassu Oil provides weightless penetration of the coco butter’s omega 3 and fatty acids to go into the second layer of the hair (the cortex).
3) Moisturize- Surface Curls anti-oxidants Vitamin A, C and E as well as the Organic Bassu Oil and coco butter help reduce frizz on the cuticle layer.
4) Strength- Surface Curls Amaranth protein (gluten free) is free and flexible which supports the style longevity. The Amaranth protein will not harden to the hair like proteins used in the past that used to dry hair out.
5) Style- Surface Curls glycoprotein’s derived from sugar, holds the curl. I call it spanx for hair! It also has tourmaline that locks the glycoproteins into the hair. This allows heat styling to be applied and reduces frizz.
Curls Bake Treatment. Before and After.
The Curls Bake Treatment delivers all five essentials for curly hair in the salon or at home. When baked into the hair it can last for up to five shampoos
How do you do a Curls Bake Treatment?
Shampoo with Curls Shampoo. If the hair has extreme tangles, apply Curls Masque for a minute and rinse out.
Squeeze hair and never ruffle dry (taking the towel and rubbing hair with towel to get moisture out) that will produce frizz.
Apply Curls Masque from the end of the scalp and DO NOT RINSE.
Apply Curls Whip Mousse from the middle of the hair to ends. (spanx for the hair).
Untangle with a LARGE comb. (I use the Surface TK2 Rake)
The most important step- let your hair dry 100% to bake all the awesome ingredients into the hair. Either diffuse without moving the hair too much or sit under a dryer.
